End of Year Celebration: A Time to Remember as we Reflect on the Past

At the end of every year, the Envision team hosts our Annual End of the Year Celebration, as we reflect on the past year, and look towards the new year to come with our family, friends, and loved ones.

This year, the Envision team along with our special guests, filled the Envision Warehouse, where we enjoyed great food, catered by Mr. Alton Lily Sr, holiday music, a time of reflection and tears of joy.

During this celebration, our team had the opportunity to truly reflect on how far Envision has grown since 2009. With all of the amazing things that we’ve experienced in 2018 –  the expansion of our internal culture, our 2nd location opening in Atlanta, our field crew members closing on new homes, the invaluable partnerships that we’ve partnered with throughout our community, and much more – we are truly beaming with joy and gratitude as we prepare to close one year and head into the next one.

To every moving part of the Envision family; to our team members, our partners at Beck and those throughout the community, to our vendors, our clients, and our friends throughout Atlanta, to everyone who contributes to the vision of Envision in any way – we want to say thank you. It’s because of each of you that our 2018 has been as great as it has, and for that, we will forever remain grateful. Thank you!

Envision’s Vendor Appreciation Luncheon – A Time to Recognize our Local Vendors

This past week, the Envision team had the opportunity to show our appreciation towards some of our local flooring materials vendors who continuously go out of their way to ensure Envision is able to provide the best products to our clients. As  the vendors filled our Tampa headquarters on Wednesday afternoon, to enjoy our Appreciation Luncheon, hosted by Linda Kosik, Envision’s Pricing and Vendor Relations Liasion, and the Orange Team; holiday music, laughter, and great fellowship filled the office as we enjoyed one another’s company.

We would like to extend a huge “Thank you!” to all of the vendors who came to enjoy the afternoon with the Envision team.

Envision: The Newest Members of the Tampa Chamber 2nd Minority Business Accelerator Cohort

Today marks as a proud moment for the Envision team as we were formally introduced during this year’s Tampa Chamber – 133rd Annual Meeting- Tampa Bay Towards Tomorrow as the newest members of the 2nd cohort in the Minority Business Accelerator Program. This moment is the kickoff to the new explosive journey for our team in 2019 and beyond.

Envision Says Thank You to All of our Local Vendors

One relationship that the Envision team holds dear to our hearts are the relationships that we hold with our vendors. It’s because of our vendors, and the great work that they continue to do, that we are able to offer competitive pricing to our clients.

This past week, one of our flooring vendors, Keith from Spartan Surfaces, came to the Envision office to introduce our team to new products available at Spartan Surfaces in the style of a Lunch & Learn. It’s intimate settings like these that set our vendor’s apart, by not only creating a space to inform our team members on what’s new, but also by continually strengthening the relationship that we have through one on one in-person contact.

From Envision, we want to personally say thank you to all of our vendors that we partner with, for all that they continue to do for Team Envision.

Families Feeding Families: Revealing Truth Ministries’ Feed Tampa Bay

Over the past 20+ years, families in the Tampa Bay area have had access to home-cooked meals on Thanksgiving day, due to Revealing Truth Ministries’ Families Feeding Families initiative.

Families Feeding Families, built on the power of knowing that if the ministry couldn’t feed all families, together, they could feed many, is an initiative that focuses on providing families in need with food on Thanksgiving.

Because Thanksgiving, for many, is a time of sitting around the dinner table, spilling over the details of one’s gratitude and thankfulness, this experience is one that Revealing Truth Ministries wanted to ensure that no family had to miss out on. Every year, this impactful event is fulfilled by members of both Revealing Truth Ministries, and of the community, coming together on the day of the event to fill the bags with various food items – enough to enjoy Thanksgiving, plus the leftovers! During this event, cars line-up one after the other, as volunteers pass the Thanksgiving bags to each car while waving & cheering “Happy Thanksgiving”.

This year, Families Feeding Families had the privilege of passing out over 800 Thanksgiving bags, feeding more than 3,200 people and 800 families in the Tampa Bay Area. With bags being passed out from Revealing Truth Ministries’ Tampa, Wesley Chapel, and St. Petersburg campuses, as well as at Maximo Elementary and Woodlawn Elementary, Families Feeding Families reached more families this year than ever before.

Envision Cares is a proud partner of Revealing Truth Ministries, and our team enjoyed playing our small part in such a huge impact day for the Tampa Bay Region.

Beck | Envision Join the Walk against Heart Disease at the 2018 Tampa Bay Heart Walk

Last weekend, Beck and Envision came together, as one, in support of a common cause at the 2018 Tampa Bay Heart Walk. While some walked with an individual in mind, and others walked to raise awareness, the entire team gathered around Raymond James Stadium in our #StrongerTogether t-shirts to support this initiative against heart disease and stroke.

As we joined forces to walk, the families and loved ones of Envision and Beck joined in on our efforts as well. Then, after crossing the finish line, the Beck Envision team, along with our families, filled the grass lot adjacent to the stadium to enjoy a moment of fun, laughter, good food and great company.

Through the Envision Cares initiative, our goal at Envision is to continually support initiatives and community efforts such as these. It is our desire to ensure that the community in which we live in continues to receive the support that it needs in order to prosper and impact lives in a major way.

The Beck Group Creates A Space for Women in Leadership: Beck’s Gals, Guns & Goals

On any typical Thursday morning, you’ll find many women of Tampa Bay focused and hard at work in their various roles and positions throughout the region. However, on this Thursday in particular, a group of 20 women in leadership from around the area, gathered together to join the ladies of The Beck Group for a morning of fun, fellowship and sporting clay shooting.

At Beck’s Gals, Guns and Goals event, hosted by Caroline Vostrejs of The Beck Group, a group of women, including our very own Ariana Greene, Envision’s Director of Operations, had the opportunity to come together to learn more about the sport of clay shooting. Gals, Guns and Goals was held at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays, where the women in attendance received hands on demonstration and group instruction, all while fostering new relationships.

Its opportunities like these that constantly contribute to the empowerment of women in leadership, by creating a space of unity and collaboration outside of the traditional office setting.

Partnerships Eliminate Weaknesses!

The partnership that we at Envision have with The Beck Group has given our team access to decades of knowledge, wisdom and experience in areas that have simply been unknown to us.

Because of this relationship and the passion that Beck has to help build people, there is no project we can’t take on together. From Aviation, Hospitality, Civic, Education, Healthcare and so much more, The Beck Group continues to extend their resources to the Envision team, providing us with the tools necessary to successfully execute our projects and better serve our clients.

During a recent walk-through the Envision team had for a project we are pursuing for our Commercial Flooring Division at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute on USF’s Tampa Campus, we had the opportunity of touring the site with one of Beck’s most knowledgeable team members, Kevin Reardon. Kevin’s experience, paired with his industry know-how, exposed our team to years of relevant experience in a practical way that taught us how to set up our job site for ICRA compliance.

It’s moments like these that reveal the influence a powerful partnership can have on a young and growing company when exercised with pure intent and genuine motive.

#BrickByBrick: CDC Luncheon

Last week, the Beck | Envision team, along with many other professionals from around the community, came together in support of the CDC of Tampa during their Champions Luncheon.

During this year’s luncheon, the CDC highlighted a few of the many impactful things they are currently working on within the community. One thing, in particular, is the building of an affordable and fresh farmers market within the neighborhood of East Tampa. The CDC has also begun establishing townhomes within the East Tampa neighborhood that will allow those who may have never considered homeownership the opportunity to own their first home.

The CDC of Tampa has been making a significant impact on the residents of Tampa Bay since their opening in 1992 as they continually think of ways to build up the community of Tampa. As The CDC continues to build their legacy within the community, we at Beck | Envision are humbled to partner with an organization who shares a true heart for the community as we play a small role in their overall vision.

3rd Quarter Meeting Means Updates & A New Push Up Champion

Each quarter, every team member of Envision will come together and fill our company’s headquarter warehouse to learn more about company updates, participate in training, enjoy great food, and engage in a friendly competition of push-ups for our quarterly company-wide meeting.  

During last week’s quarterly meeting, the Envision team enjoyed a delicious catered meal from 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse, sponsored by one of our Tampa vendors, Susan Cameron from Shaw, as our field team members participated in a safety and PPE training hosted by our ADP Safety Specialist, Steve. This quarterly meeting, we also took the time to update our team on the various projects we’ve recently been awarded for our Flooring Division and our CM Division within the last quarter, as our Managing Directors’ shared their hearts and gratitude towards the team members for all of their hard work and dedication that made it possible for Envision to reach these major milestones.

The fellowship that is fostered at each of our team quarterly meetings is something that holds significance to our team as we continue to grow at rapid speeds now more than ever before.
