University of South Florida St. Petersburg Osprey Suites & Dining Hall

The Osprey Suites residence hall at University of South Florida St. Petersburg not only expanded student housing from 550 to over 900 beds, but also gave the campus its first full-service, 400-seat dining facility. Envision served as the MBE CM partner on this project with our partner The Beck Group, carrying out general labor and self-performing all tile and wall.

The 125,000 SF, six-story building includes a lounge, study area, and community kitchen on the first floor. The other five floors have dormitories, where residents of upper levels enjoy incredible views of the waterfront and downtown St. Petersburg. Upon construction of the sustainable, LEED-certified building, lumber from the oak trees that were cleared in the process was salvaged and incorporated into the hall’s furniture and design features.
