Envision served as a construction management partner to The Beck Group in building Warren Hope Dawson Elementary School—a project executed to accommodate a growing population and relieve overcrowding at Collins, Summerfield, and Sessums elementary schools.
Named after a veteran civil rights attorney who fought to desegregate Hillsborough County Public Schools, the six-building elementary school holds three two-story classrooms, a single-story administration building, a single-story cafeteria and auditorium, and an ancillary building. Envision furnished and installed engineered stairway canopy covers in two locations across the 83,000 SF school, reducing stair maintenance needs and providing shade to students.
